Terms of use

Last updated 25 October 2026

These terms apply when you use Unizy (unizy.uk), run by Ammaar Hasan. By using Unizy you agree to them. Contact: [email protected].

What Unizy is

Unizy is an independent study aid. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to any university. Module information is based on universities’ published course pages and may be out of date or differ from what your department teaches. Your university’s own materials, timetable and rules always take priority.

AI tutor and marking

Academic integrity

Use Unizy to learn and practise. Don’t submit AI-written or AI-rewritten work as your own if your university’s rules don’t allow it. You are responsible for following your university’s academic integrity policy.

Your account and content

Acceptable use

Don’t misuse Unizy. That includes trying to get around the AI limits, overloading or attacking the service, scraping it, using it to produce harmful or unlawful content, or sharing your account. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.

Unizy’s content

Unizy’s notes, flashcards, questions and design are owned by Unizy. You can use them for your own study, but not copy or republish them in bulk.

Availability and liability

Unizy is provided “as is”, and we don’t guarantee it will always be available or error-free. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect losses, or for results, grades or decisions based on Unizy. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Changes and ending

We may update these terms and will change the date above when we do. You can stop using Unizy and ask us to delete your account at any time.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
