Good questions to ask before you sign up.
Is Unizy free?
Yes. Notes, flashcards, topic tests, planning and friend groups are free. The free plan includes 10 tutor actions and 1 Assess marking a week. Unizy Pro unlocks the full tutor and marking, and every new account gets 7 days of Pro free with no card. See pricing.
Do I need an account?
No. You can explore Unizy and save work on your device without one. An account saves your work across devices and is needed for the tutor, marking and friend groups.
Is Unizy connected to my university?
No. Unizy is independent and isn’t affiliated with or endorsed by any university. It uses universities’ published course information to set up your modules.
What if my module isn’t fully covered?
Every module shows a coverage label: Module pack, Subject library, Closest library or Outline only. Where coverage is thin, upload your own notes: Unizy can turn them into flashcards, and the tutor can work from the official outline.
Is the tutor always right?
No. It’s grounded in your module’s outline and the checked library notes, and told to flag uncertainty, but it can still make mistakes. Treat it like a study partner, not an authority, and check important points against your lectures and reading.
Can I use Unizy to write my essays?
Unizy is built for learning and practice: planning, feedback and testing yourself. Follow your university’s academic integrity rules and don’t submit work written for you as your own.
Who makes Unizy?
Unizy is built by Ammaar Hasan, a History and Politics student at UCL, for students like him. Questions or feedback: [email protected].
